From a perspective rooted in pictorial art, I work with textile materials: weaving, embroidering and employing a range of free techniques. The result is textile art.
Over the years, I have undertaken a variety of commissions for specified interior settings. I have also created works on location, for a location and with materials specific to that location: for example, in the forest near Jyderup, Denmark, at a Polish-Danish seminar for textile artists, and at an international seminar held in Zvartava Castle, Latvia.
